I am a board-certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (IFMCP), passionate about true healing, and someone who's been in your shoes. I received my doctorate from Cleveland University and my undergraduate from Texas A&M University. My post doctorate education and training is in Functional Medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine.
I understand how frustrating it can be trying to find answers when you are sick and get dismissed by the healthcare system.
Functional Medicine changed everything. By getting to the root of my imbalances instead of masking symptoms, I reclaimed my energy, balanced my hormones, and healed my gut. Then I got to work helping others.

My journey began at the University of Texas at Austin, then continued down the Gulf Coast at UT Medical Branch in Galveston. After a demanding surgery internship and a diagnostic-radiology residency (where I was honored to serve as Chief Resident) at Loma Linda University, I rounded out my training with a fellowship year at UC San Diego. For more than 15 years I practiced interventional radiology, performing over 5,000 procedures and witnessing firsthand the heavy toll that chronic disease takes on people's lives.
That conviction led me to functional medicine. Today, my greatest joy is helping patients reclaim their energy, calmn inflammation, and reverse the course of chronic conditions, so they can live the vibrant, purposeful lives they were designed for.
